2013 Dodge Dart - Mopar Edition
This personal automotive project from 2017 is one of my most ambitious and rewarding endeavors. I purchased this car from a salvage auction and meticulously restored it to a condition that surpasses its original factory standards. It remains my favorite and most involved car project to date.
Before:
Most of the damage to the car was straightforward part replacement, which I was able to handle myself. However, the accident had caused the wheel to be pushed into the driver’s footwell and front door jamb, requiring unibody frame repair. To fix this, I purchased a front corner section from another vehicle and enlisted a professional body shop to cut out the damaged pieces and weld in the replacement sections. The result exceeded expectations, restoring both the car's original strength and its factory appearance. The state then inspected the car and issued a rebuilt title, confirming its restoration to roadworthy condition.
